My name is Alessio Smeraldo and I am a biomedical engineer with a Ph.D. in “Industrial Product and Process Engineering” at University of Naples “Federico II” and IIT -Center for Advanced Biomaterials for Healthcare. I took part in some EIT Health programs to compete with the current challenges of healthcare innovation by applying my knowledge away from a university context. Moreover, working on the development of two university spin-off projects, I participated in some Italian and European start-up competitions and acceleration programs with the goal to deliver the product on the market.
