I´m a Science&Technology Manager at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra 8FMUC). I´m dedicated to EU projects, mainly Horizon Europe and EIT Health. I manage FMUC´s EIT Health projects and applications for the last 4 years, being involved in many applications and funded projects, mostly n Education but we have also a strong interest in Innovation projects. We wok in close collaboration with Coimbra University Hospital (also a EIT Health partner), in a fruitful and successful partnership in research, project proposals and project implementation, providing us access to all medical areas, to healthcare professionals, samples and patients. FMUC fosters a privileged environment for higher education and specialized training, through graduated, post-graduated, and professional specialization courses. It is internationally recognized for its innovative and ground-breaking fundamental, clinical and translational research, searching for solutions for impactful and complex questions on health sciences.
