Mr. Georgios Megas is a Research and Innovation consultant at the National Documentation Centre of Greece (EKT) since 2016, he is the Horizon Europe National Contact Point (NCP) team leader at EKT and an NCP for Cluster 4 (Digital, Industry, Space) for Greece. Mr. Megas is the EIT Health HUB Coordinator for Greece, creating an ecosystem for health and life sciences startups. He is a member of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) since 2016 and the co-chair of the EEN Digital Sector Group since 2022. Furthermore he is a project manager for various EU funded programmes. He is a member of the European Digital Innovation Hubs expert group organised by the European Commission and his focus is on Digital transformation, Digital Health and AgTech. Mr. Megas has worked in the private sector as a consultant for co-funded programmes, as an engineer in environmental protection companies as well as an advisor for the ministry of rural development. He holds and MSc in Industrial management and technology.
