I'm a health innovation project manager, with a PhD in Bioengineering, with practice in different contexts - clinics, academy and industry. Currently I am interested in creating an open innovation platform at my institution. I am mainly responsible for the implementation of innovation projects in the clinical setting but I would like to be also involved in the creation process. In the past, my research experience was focused in metabolism, specifically on the proteomic analysis of gut-derived extracellular vesicles in prediabetes. My PhD project resulted of a sucessfull collaboration between 3 great institutions in Portugal: Instituto Superior Técnico de Lisboa, NOVA Medical School and Champalimaud Foundation. I am also a Inov Contacto Member, my international internship was at Anacor Pharmaceuticals, in the US. I am a sports-fan, broadcaster, entrepreneur and former hostel manager and event's promoter.
