Professor Lucyna Woźniak, PhD, DSc. Vice-Rector for Research Strategy and International Affairs and Head of the Department of Structural Biology at the Medical University of Lodz, working in medicinal chemistry and molecular biology. Research areas: molecular diabetes and GDM -early molecular predictors of type 2 diabetes in women population, application of polyphenols (EPE) in antioxidant, anticancer and antiviral and antiaging components. She has been Deputy Director of the Healthy Ageing Research Centre (HARC), at the Medical University of Lodz since 2012. Former member of the Supervisory Board of EIT HEALTH and Innovation Strategic Board of EITHEALTH. The member of the EUA task-and-finish group on the EU Research & Innovation Framework Programme.
