Head Of Digital Value Generation
Syreon Research Institute

I am a scientist and health economist with a diverse range of experience across several fields. I received my MSc in Biology and Molecular Plant Biology from Eötvös Loránd University in 2006. Between 2006 and 2015, I worked as a research fellow at the University of Pécs, where I conducted cutting-edge research on various projects related to plant biology focused on identifying the molecular mechanisms that govern the signaling pathways that mediate host-microbe interactions. In 2016, I decided to pivot my career and explore new areas of interest. I developed expertise in health technology assessment, economic modeling, and innovation value assessment. After receiving my MSc. degree in health economics, I began working as a manager consultant and junior health economist at the Healthcare Financial Management Department of the University of Pécs, where I helped to evaluate the economic and clinical value of new healthcare technologies and interventions. Later, my interest in health economics led me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA degree with a specialization in FinTech and the digital economy, which I received in 2018 and 2023, respectively. Currently, I am defending my PhD thesis, which focuses on the health technology assessment of a diagnostic procedure prior to epileptic surgery, with the aim of significantly impacting the lives of individuals with epilepsy and advancing the field of health technology assessment regarding surgical interventions and the assessment of medical devices. I joined Syreon Research Institute part-time as a health economist in 2018, focusing on novel areas of health technology assessment, including mobile health devices, medical devices, real-world data and evidence generation, and risk-sharing agreements. From 2022 on, I will be head of digital value generation and a member of the strategy unit. In 2021, I took on a new role as the head of the Technology and Data Asset Management Department at the University of Pécs, where I am responsible for the development and utilization of data assets, with a primary focus on healthcare and ERP. With my diverse background and expertise in science, economics, and data management, I have become a highly sought-after consultant and advisor in the healthcare industry. With my roles and engagements in public and private organizations, I have positioned my expertise in a way that I can continuously drive innovation and push the boundaries of what is possible in healthcare and technology assessment by means of digital transformation and data-driven decisions, while I remain committed to improving health outcomes for patients around the world.
