Florian Ludwig, Ph.D., is an investment director with Thuja Capital, a healthcare fund with active investments in medtech, biotech and nutraceuticals. Prior to joining Thuja Capital, Florian has with worked in the medtech industry, and contributed to the development of innovative medical devices at Guidant, Abbott Vascular and Covidien, Ventrica, ROX Medical and Direct Flow Medical. Florian has served in different responsibilities, ranging from technology development to market development. Florian holds a doctorate degree in physics from the Technical University of Munich, Germany, gained in research collaborations with Duke University, USA, and the University of British Columbia, Canada. He is an author on over 40 issued patents.
