Digital Health Welcome

The EIT Health Catapult 2021 Semifinals took place as an online event. Moderated by Alison Monro we were guided through an exciting programme. Each day of the semi-finals 14 start-ups presented their 5-min pitches followed by Q&A sessions with the jury members. Moreover, multiple short and inspiring keynotes were included in the program, sharing some insights into different areas of healthcare innovation. And of course: at the end of the day, the winners of the sponsor awards and the names of the finalists were announced.

Digital Health Awards

The final part of the EIT Health Catapult 2021 Semifinals program of the Digital Health category started with the first keynote, titled 'The German DiGA model – Learnings from 1 year’, presented by Marco Wendel (CEO, Medical Valley Digital Health Application Center GmbH) followed by David Dellamonica (Digital and Innovation, Oncology Europe & Canada, AstraZeneca) & Hassan Naqvi ( Lead, Global Digital Health, AstraZeneca) and their topic; 'How are disruptive technologies transforming the oncology landscape to fulfill patients’ unmet needs’. 
Then finally, the recipients of the sponsor awards and the four runners up along with the three podium finalists of the Biotech category were announced by Kurt Höller (Director of Business Creation at EIT Health).
