Christoph has been an Investment Profession at MTIP since January 2020. Currently he holds two board observer positions (Intelligencia, Mediktor). In Summer 2021, he completed a fellowship at Flagship Pioneering, a Boston-based biotech venture studio.

Previously, he finished his Ph.D. at the University of Freiburg i.B. in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology with distinction. His Ph.D. was awarded by the Rainer-Rudolph-foundation. In this time, he successfully published more than 10 articles in high impact journals like Nature and Cell.
