Katherine Wong Selz is an advisor to healthcare startups in Paris, France. She believes we can create a healthier society and lead healthier lives if we can correctly connect life science innovations with real market needs. By combining her long experience in finance with her original training as an engineer, she is positioned in the right place on any company's roadmap to help them make that connection and bring their innovations to patients and care givers.

Katherine holds a Global Executive MBA from Trium, a Top 5 programme, run by NYU Stern School of Business, London School of Economics and HEC Paris; and she obtained a BSc in Electronic Engineering from Loughborough University, UK. After stints in corporate banking, financial derivatives and mergers and acquisition, she has found her sweet spot helping healthcare startups to obtain funding - both private and public – and as part of the process, challenges and advises them on their development strategy.

She is a member of the board of Quattrocento, a builder of life science tools companies and is a regular member of the selection jury of the startup incubator of Ecole Superieure de la Physique et la Chimie Industrielle, a leading Paris science and technology university. She has also worked with Medicen, the life science business and academic cluster of the Paris region, helping their startups hone their message to investors. And last, but not least, she is an evaluator and mentor in the EIT Health community!
