Innovation and change in the conduct of clinical trials is required if there is to be effective improvement in the cost and time taken to run trials for any product (drug or device) or any research focused trial. Afortiori Development is a clinical research organisation and a valuable partner that provides stewardship and advocacy to companies as they strive to provide the appropriate clinical evidence in support of regulatory approval and commercial success.

Nicola has over 22 years extensive experience in the healthcare arena. She has worked with the largest companies in the world to design processes aimed at improving the conduct of clinical research. She has managed global clinical trials across 36 countries and managed all areas of the clinical trial process. During her PhD research, she also worked for the NHS in the UK which provided a complementary skill set and enabled her to acquire a deep understanding of the hospital environment that is critical for the solid execution of any clinical trial.
