Description:
CybeRIS is a training opportunity for start-ups and SMEs to enable the implementation of innovative healthcare solutions in a hospital environment without impeding critical infrastructure or exposing vulnerabilities. Knowledge transfer between cybersecurity experts, innovators and healthcare professionals will lead to a better understanding of potential safety threats and mitigation techniques. A particular goal is also to increase the uptake and dissemination of state-of-the-art cybersecurity solutions (especially by start-ups and SMEs). However, the involvement of healthcare professionals and hospital IT professionals is required as discussion and effective communication between stakeholders will ultimately provide a solution to end users.
The training will comprise the following topics:
MODULE 1: basics & terminology
MODULE 2: standards and compliance
MODULE 3: case studies and healthcare professionals’ point-of-view
MODULE 4: management & leadership aspects, future developments & career opportunities
Target audience:
1. Startups developing a digital solution that would be implemented in a healthcare environment
2. Healthcare managers, responsible for safe & secure operations of the hospitals, chief information security officers (CISOs)
Seats: 50 seats are available
Eligibility criteria:
• start-up registered in an EIT RIS country
• developing a solution that would interact with patient/hospital data
Selection:
• formal eligibility
• technical readiness level (TRL) > 3 (Analytical and experimental critical function and/or characteristic proof of concept)
