Bio: Antal Kuthy – co-founder and CEO, E-Group 

• M.Sc.E.E. Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Science, Budapest University of Technology, 1st informatics class (1988-1993), thesis in machine learning/speech recognition and natural language processing, Tangora System – IBM R&D Heidelberg 

• ProScientia Medal– 1st place, national science grad student competition in IT engineering section

In 1993, he founded E-Group as a fresh graduate with his classmate and friend, András Nagy. Antal lived in US, Tokyo, London, in 2006 moved to Hong Kong, where he established the Eastern presence of E-Group, including Hong Kong and Vietnam. Ever since returning in 2013 to Budapest with his family, his mission is to take E-Group to the next level as a strong ’Data, AI &Trust’ technology player in the EU deep-tech space. 
 
As the Chief Executive Officer, Antal represents strategy, innovation, sales and business development in the management and advocates the ‘data to knowledge with trust’ vision. With his proactive attitude and invaluable insight into the market, Antal drives new co-innovation opportunities and facilitates lab-to-market models with the academia and industry successfully. 
 
As an ex modern pentathlete, he loves to go on morning runs. He is eager to meet smart and interesting people and drink tea from his favorite china set. During the evening, his three sons keep him active.
