Monika is managing the EIT Health RIS programme across 13 emerging countries, building the largest healthcare innovation community in the region and supporting innovation ecosystem development. Monika is responsible for providing health care innovation and entrepreneurship courses for hundreds of talents, for managing the start-up acceleration programmes, as well as for supporting health related innovation projects to close the gap in skills and to shorten the time-to-market for life-changing products and services, while contributing to a thriving health innovation ecosystem in Emerging Europe. 

Monika has a strong financial background with a broad experience from business and management in various industries like pharma, banking, telecommunication, and consulting. Monika enjoys building and inspiring high performing teams to deliver outstanding results. She builds strong relationships across cultures with clients and partners while continuously being challenged to do better every day by her team members.
