Maria Teresa Gómez Condado

Career Officer of the Superior Corps of Civil Administrators of the State since 1977, Maria Teresa holds degrees in Law and Political Science and Sociology, she graduated in French language and Civilization from the Sorbonne University and holds a master’s degree in General Management from IESE Business School.

She is a committed professional, with more than 30 years of experience, who has held positions of maximum responsibility in the public and private sectors, and the first General Director of MUFACE (General Mutual Health Insurance of Public Administration Civil Workers).

In 1997 she moved to the private sector, to Banco Santander, where she directed the Institutional Banking business, with considerable growth in the 7 years under her direction.

In 2004 she returned to the public sector to occupy the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade and later the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Science and Innovation, actively participating in the design and implementation of economic policies aimed at the main productive sectors. She has been President of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, President of the EOI Business school, General Secretary of ISDEFE (Engineering Systems for the Defence of Spain), and President of FUNDETEC (Foundation of Technical Studies).

Since 2019 she manages the CEOE Campus Business school.

She considers herself an expert in technology and in managing complex public-private partnership projects. She has led them in strategic sectors such as industry, energy, tourism, science and innovation, and technology.
