Montse has a background in digital business, marketing and comms and has served a variety of roles in the education sector for the last 16 years.

She started in the field by implementing innovative vocational training pilots in London, Naples and Barcelona. Following that experience, she joined the top-ranked IESE Business School, where she lead one of their knowledge portals for seven years.

In 2012, she started a new period now at PAU Education were she delivered several consultancies and strategical implementations for the DG EAC and the DG CONNECT of the European Commission. One of the flagship initiatives she was involved in was the relaunch of the eLearning Europa into Open Education Europa and secondly the Open Education Challenge, the first Pan-European edutech incubator.

More recently, besides collaborating within EIT Health since its foundation last 2016, Montse joined an online learning institution as a Marketing and Communications Director. Since 2013, she also mentors educational projects and startups following the lean startup methology at ESADE Business School and she is also lecturing at Open University of Catalonia (UOC) on digital competences.

Last but not least, Montse has been involved in international events and conferences such as Online Educa Berlin (OEB). She joined the Education EIT Health team as Manager for the Spanish node of the organization in 2018.
