Start-up participation criteria 

Start-ups will be pre-selected by the EIT Health Regional Innovation Hubs based on the call criteria, namely:

• Developing breakthrough innovations for example:
  • Digital Diagnostics
  • Digital Therapeutics
  • Digital Management in Healthcare
  • Digital Analytics in Healthcare
• Aim to validate, launch on the market and receive regulatory approval for patient-centred Digital Medical Device solution
• Established in EU member states or Horizon Europe Associate countries, incorporated after 1 January 2013
• Have at least 2 paid FTEs and the CEO works full time for the company
• Maturity level of at least IML5 (Proof of Value) for start-up-driven projects
• Maturity level of at least IML7 (Validation of Solution) for fast-track projects (DiGinnovation)
• Solutions must be already CE-marked and classified as I-IIa or IIb in case of France as targeted market
• Targeting European markets with a fast-track reimbursement scheme (e.g. Belgium, Germany, France) or markets with private payors (e.g. Estonia)

There is no fee for start-ups to participate.
