Start-up participation criteria
Start-ups will be pre-selected by the EIT Health Regional Innovation Hubs based on the call criteria, namely:
- Developing breakthrough innovations for example:
- Digital Diagnostics
- Digital Therapeutics
- Digital Management in Healthcare
- Digital Analytics in Healthcare
- Aim to validate, launch on the market and receive regulatory approval for patient-centred Digital Medical Device solution
- Established in EU member states or Horizon Europe Associate countries, incorporated after 1 January 2013
- Have at least 2 paid FTEs and the CEO works full time for the company
- Maturity level of at least IML5 (Proof of Value) for start-up-driven projects
- Maturity level of at least IML7 (Validation of Solution) for fast-track projects (DiGinnovation)
- Solutions must be already CE-marked and classified as I-IIa or IIb in case of France as targeted market
- Targeting European markets with a fast-track reimbursement scheme (e.g. Belgium, Germany, France) or markets with private payors (e.g. Estonia)
There is no fee for start-ups to participate.
