Meritxell has devoted the last 10 years to doing research, trying to make drugs reach the brain better. Now she is committed to moving the technology closer to patients under the Gate2Brain spin-off, of which she is the CEO/CSO. She sees this role as both a challenge and an honour. 

Meritxell participated in WE Health modules in Barcelona (Empowering Women Leadership in Health Innovation) and in Stockholm (Unlocking Your Innovative Potential).
