Description:
While women make up the great majority of the health workforce (70-80%), only 5 % are in leadership positions, “health is delivered by women, led by men”. Hence by empowering their innovative capacity and potential, they can be a particular driver for health innovation and leadership, particularly through the twist they can add in terms of creativity, needs' driven solutions, gender perspective in health products and services design, etc.

WE Health RIS goal is to enhance the participation of women in health innovation and entrepreneurship activities by empowering them through capacity-building tailored to their needs and by inspiring and supporting them to advance in their professional careers.

WE Health RIS looks to attain the following objective:
- Deliver a capacity-building workshop specifically tailored to the needs of women, taking into account the findings from our own assessment studies and the extensive experience in the context of EIT Health WE Health project over the last 5 years - since 2017.
- Inspire and support women to advance in their professional careers in the area of health innovation and entrepreneurship.
WE Health RIS will directly influence women participants, empowering them with knowledge and skills to grow professionally and drive their careers, either as a successful entrepreneur or as a health innovator, identifying professional and business opportunities and realizing them. In the longer term, contribute to more and more powerful women innovators and entrepreneurs in health care.

WE Health RIS targets general women interested in entrepreneurship, women entrepreneurs and innovators: researchers, (potential) entrepreneurs, and women in industry/healthcare services.
