ABOUT THE EVENT

While women constitute the vast majority of health workers (70-80%), only 5% in managerial positions, "health is provided by women, led by men." Likewise, few women want to be entrepreneurial and drive innovation. A real loss - as the 2017 HBS study showed, women are more focused on the common good and on innovations that have a real impact. Therefore, by enhancing their innovation capacity and potential, they can be a particular driver of innovation and leadership in the field of health, especially through the twist they can add in terms of creativity, needs-driven solutions, gender perspective in the design of health products and services, etc.

WE Health RIS by EIT Health and IESE Business School is an online training aimed at achieving the following objectives:

  • Provide a capacity-building programme specifically tailored to the needs of women, taking into account the results of the EIT Health assessment studies and the experience in the context of the EIT Health WE Health project in the last 5 years - from 2017.
  • Create a transformational learning experience
  • Inspire and support women in developing their careers in the field of innovation in health and entrepreneurship.

WE Health RIS will directly impact participants by equipping them with the knowledge and skills to develop professionally, guide their careers as a successful health entrepreneur or innovator, identifying and realising professional and business opportunities.
