When can I organise my 1-2-1 meetings?
You will be able to organise your 1-2-1 meetings before the event. The 1-2-1 meetings are scheduled to take place on 9 -10 May. Please check the agenda to see when the Matchmaking sessions take place.
How can I search for the ideal Matchmaking partner?
The first step to find your ideal Matchmaking partner is to ensure your Matchmaking profile is up to date. Once completed, you will be able to search through the attendees, using the filters to find the partners meeting your needs.
How do I request a meeting with another attendee?
Once you have found an attendee you wish to meet with, click on to their profile. From here there is an option to create a meeting. Simply fill in the boxes to request a time and the Matchmaking platform will generate a unique meeting link for you.
Is there anything I need for this event?
In-person attendees
Please ensure you bring your ticket to the check-in desk, either a printout, on your phone or the email. You will also need to download the event app to ensure you know when all of your Matchmaking appointments are along with agenda timings and event information.
Online attendees
You will need a strong and stable internet connection on a browser that is up to date, a wired connection is much more stable than wireless. You can test your broadband speed here. For online events, a download speed of 10MB or more should be sufficient.
What do I do when I arrive at the venue?
The first thing to do is go to the check-in desk, show the team your ticket and exchange this for your event badge. You will need your badge on you at all times in order to move around the venue. Clear signage will allow you to see where the sessions, breakouts and matchmaking areas are. This information can also be found on the event app. Once you have checked in, join the live sessions, attend the breakouts and make those connections with EIT Health Partners and other like-minded attendees.
I am joining online, what can I do to ensure my internet is stable?
A number of factors can reduce internet speed, some of which include: downloading files, having software open that requires internet, other consoles that use internet e.g. games consoles or loose broadband cables.
