EIT Health Matchmaking
The must-attend networking event designed to help support your Business Plan proposal submissions.
At these strategic Partners' events, EIT Health supports meaningful community networking and aims to accelerate projects between their partners by giving them a space for pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings to establish new and fruitful collaborations.
Our innovation call is changing and will be improved to better reflect what Partners see are our biggest opportunities to succeed. With this in mind, we have updated the Matchmaking agenda to include four keynote talks, each focused on a different "flagship" area and followed by a discussion.
Over the course of the two days you will be able to:
- Attend four inspiring sessions focus on how Partners can create synergies with different European initiatives to develop Flagship programmes:
- Europe Re-Industrialisation
- Health data for public health, treatment, research, and innovation in Europe
- High-Value Care
- Fast track for digital health apps validation and reimbursement in Europe
- Matchmake and schedule your 1-2-1 meeting to discuss current project proposals and plan for future ones.
- Discuss current and upcoming EIT Health-lead activities and pogrammes in dedicated breakout sessions - learn and exchange ideas on initiatives such as WorkInHealth, Bridgehead, EIT Health Fellowship Programme, High Value Care (HVC) and Academy Platform.
- Watch the top six start-ups pitch for the DiGinnovation: Fast track digital applications and help decide who will progress into the consortium building stage. Check out the agenda to know the start-ups.
- Ask further questions and receive bespoke support from the EIT Health team.
- Platform support: Our platform support team will be available for 1:1 support throughout the Matchmaking event. Do you have questions about Plaza? Would you like a quick tour? Do you need to register? Visit the booth to have a chat with Gee or Justin.
- Learn more about the outcomes of the pilots we have run in 2021-2022 and discuss how we can support your Open Innovation journey.
Who is the EIT Health Matchmaking event for?
EIT Health Partners and pre-invited start-ups ( six start-ups belonging to DiGinnovation: Fast track digital applications) are invited to participate. This year, we have secured some seats for non-EIT Health partners. If you are an external wishing to participate or would like more information please contact us on EITHealthMatchmaking@eithealth.eu to go through our internal process.
Do I have to attend in person?
For those who can't attend in person, some sessions will be made available on-demand: Inspiring sessions, Champion sessions, DiGinnovation fast track digital applications pitching and the session on How to engage Citizens & Patietns to reach the best High Value Care.
Participants attending online they will also be able to schedule their own 1-2-1 meetings with both online and in-person attendees.
